Waduh… Stress gler laa taon neh.. Dah la aku exam SPM, keje ngan organisasi pom tak habes2, pastu ditambah pulak ngan family pressure.. Hadus.. Mati aku kalau teros camnie.. Tengok kat hal2 yg buat aku stress nie banyak, so, jom kite cakap2 scara ditir lagi.. Waduh..

Meh sini nak kasi cerita kat korang sume.. Pes2, kite cakap pasal aku punyer SPM dulu.. Waduh.. Mengeluh panjang aku.. TENAT! Macam mane laa aku taun nie… Pelajaran banyak lagi tak cover kemas2.. nanti cicir lagi terok, nahas la aku.. Dah chapter taon lepas banyak lagi tak berkesudahan, ditambah pulak ngan chapter nak run taon nie.. Hadus.. Dah la aku amek 11 subjek.. Mampos laaa.. Setiap subjek, ade lbeh kurang 15 chapter; fom 4 + fom 5, so, darab plak ngan 11..so, 15 x 11 = 165 CHAPTER yg aku kena backup complete dalam jangka masa lebih kurang; 7 bulan lagi.. Hadus.. Mau gila sih.. Dah la aku tak tuisyen.. Memang gali kubor sendiri la jawabnye.. Agak-agak la kan, tercapai ke tak ek plan ONE STOP aku ek? doa2 la ek moga2 aku dapat buat yang terbaek untuk SPM 2010!

Citer pulak sal family.. Waaa~ mau gila korang kalau jadi aku.. Nak aje bunuh diri rasenye..[tapi aku takde la sampai cemtu..haha].. Dah la balek umah salu lewat; pukul 6@7 ptg baru sampai.. Pastu, bile kite duk kat dalam bilik; kat atas; dikatenye pulak kite TIDUR! Alahai.. Padahal kite tgh study@dll, jugak dikatenye kite tido.. Kalau turun study kat bawah plak, banyak masalah.. tak dapat nak focus la, bising la, tv la, ade keje la n macam2 laa.. Hadoi.. Tak ke mental jadinye..? Mau aje aku terjun KLCC.. tp biala.. Pape pon yg jadi, dorang tetap family aku.. Pape jadi pon, tak lari kemanenye..pcaye laa aku cakap nie..so, taknak komen banyak.. hehe~

Cakap pulak pasal organisasi, aku kene tulis banyak la sket ek? Bagi Badan Redaksi la dulu ek, memang aku pening.. Aku dah penat sangat dah.. Taun lepas aku dah penat giler dah, taun nie, aku lagi.. SEMEMANGNYA KEADAAN TERAMAT PENAT DAN TENAT. Banyak giler keje nak kenen setel.. Ni sume pasal aku jugak.. yg aku gatal nak gubal balek Redaksi Taun nie apesal? Kan dah makan diri..haha.. Tapi tu la, cabaran selalu ade.. So, keep consistant je la.. Sabar.. Actually, aku dah ade dua orang pelapis yg aku dah kompem nk bg jawatan tinggi taun depan.. Tapi, masalahnye, dorang tu semi-pro..susah laa.. Sume nak kene ajar.. Bile la boleh aku lepas kat dowang?haih.. Tapi takpe lagi.. At least 2011 da ade.. 2013 da ade ugak.. 2012 yg jadi masalah.. Memang takde calon yg boleh arap.. Moga2 la taon depan dapat calon baru ek?hee~ hmmm.. Satu lagi, aim nak siapkan majalah; awal.. aku dah aim, November 2010, AL-HIKMAH 2010 Edisi 38; DITERBITKAN. So, aku kene proffin awal2 lagi; dalam September. Then, October, aku dah kene siap editor copy n hantar majalah kat publisher dah.. And, tricknye adalah; BULETIN; AL-HIKMAH The Series. Dengan adenye buletin ni, InsyaAllah, tarikh yg dah deal, goal.

Beralih pulak pasal Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar; MPP, aku kadang2 tak sempat jugak nak cover sume keje aku neh.. So, pandai2 la aku backup.

Lastly, Kelab Seni Foto dan Dokumentasi. Waaa~ kelab ni pon tercicir ugak.. Plan yg terdekat; aku nak buat kelas foto ngan rehlah.. Tapi, aku tak sempat nak handle lagi laa..hadoi.. Tapi, takpe la.. InsyaAllah, aku buat ape yang terdaya…ek?hee~

Waahhh~… Nengok2, camne ek? Ade penim dah ke? “Berat mata memandang, berat lagi bahu memikul”…hehe~ Itulah hakikat kehidupan aku. Aku faham; sume neh terjadi bertujuan untuk medidik aku. So, aku kene tabah laa.. Korang2 sume, doa2 la kat aku ek? Kasihani daku~ hehe…k laa.. Biarkan aje aku terpinga-pinga ngan stress problem ney ek?hee~ daa~ tata, ASSALAMUALAIKUMWARAHMATULLAHIWABARAKATUH.

Dalam hidup yang penuh cabaran dan dugaan,
Pada usia kata orang “baru setahun jagung”,
Dah ku lalui perjalanan yang dirantai onak duri,
Penuh dengan rasa pahit dan manis.

Dalam perjalanan ini,
Selalu ku diuji dengan masalah,
Selalu juga ku cuba untuk melarikan diri,
Namun tidak ku temui jalan keluar.

Masalah sentiasa menduga daku,
Oleh itu, penyelesaiannya ku cari,

Jalan tengah akhirnya menjadi pilihanku,

Dulu, aku hanyalah pelajar biasa.
dulu, aku adalah pelajar yang nakal.

dulu, aku selalu maki bila majalah keluar lambat.
dulu, aku slalu masuk BD.
dulu, aku slalu lari bila jumpa dhobit.
dulu, aku slalu lari bila jumpa MPP.
dulu, aku slalu cabut bila nampak cikgu disiplin.
dulu, aku slalu lompat pagar.
dulu, aku slalu ponteng kelas.

sekarang, aku masih ponteng kelas.
tapi tidak seperti dulu lagi.
aku ponteng kerana kerja.
sekarang, aku slalu tangkap plajar nakal.
sekarang, aku slalu jumpa cikgu displin.
sekarang, aku slalu masuk BD.
tapi aku bukan seperti dulu.

Hari ini,
aku berdiri di bumi Maahad Muhammadi Lelaki,
Sebagai Ketua Editor.
Menegemudi jentera bernama Badan Redaksi.
menerbitkan sebuah majalh AL-Hikmah.
yang dulu aku maki kerana lambat diterbitkan.
yang dulu aku maki kerana isi yang tidak menarik.

Namun kini,
aku mengerti.
perjuangan mantan-mantan aku dahulu.
untuk merealisasikan majalh sekolah, AL-HIKMAH.
bukanlah suatu perjuangan yang ringan.
ia adalah perjuangan yang penuh liku.
perjuangan yang memerlukan tenaga dan fikiran.
perjuangan yang tidak mengerti penat lelah.
kini, aku merasainya.

Hari ini,
aku berdiri di bumi Maahad Muhammadi Lelaki,
Sebagai EXCO PENERANGAN DAN PENERBITAN,
MAJLIS PERWAKILAN PELAJAR MAAHAD MUHAMMADI LELAKI.
majlis yang mana selalu aku hina dulu.
selalu aku kutuk.
kini aku memperjuangkannya.

Kini aku,
Tidak lagi seperti dulu.
aku menjadi seorang yang aku maki suatu ketika dulu.
kini aku menyambung perjuangan mereka.
merealisasikan impian mereka.
membuahkan hasil titik peluh mereka.

Kerana,

Denda RM50,000.00 ?

Beberapa minggu yang lepas kita telah menyaksikan perlawanan diantara KELANTAN dan Negeri Sembilan pada perlawanan akhir Piala Malaysia. Perlawanan tersebut berakhir dengan keputusan 1 – 3 yang menyaksikan Negeri Sembilan Berjaya merangkul gelaran sebagai juara Piala Malaysia 2009 manakala KELANTAN pula merupakan selaku naib juara Piala Malaysia 2009. Perlawanan selama 90 minit itu berlangsung dengan penuh tragedi dan dramatis yang mana pasti akan menjadi sejarah antara perlawanan akhir Piala Malaysia yang terburuk di dalam rekod. Pelbagai kejadian buruk berlaku sepanjang peerlawanan tersebut yang mana telah di cetuskan oleh kedua-dua belah pihak penyokong pasukan.

Baik KELANTAN mahupun Negeri Sembilan, para penyokong mereka semuanya bertindak di luar batasan dengan membaling mercun, botol da seumpamanya yang mana mampu mendatangkan kekecohan di dalam stadium. Namun, badan induk bola sepak Malaysia, FAM, memandang dengan hanya memcelik sebelah mata dengan menyalahkan penyokong KELANTAN sahaja atas kerugian yang di hadapi oleh pihak penjagaan Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil berikutan kerosakan dan keganasan yang berlaku.

Tindakan FAM mendenda KAFA sebanyak RM 50,000.00 amat tidak adil kerana kerosakan yang terjadi bukan hanya disebabkan oleh tindakan ganas penyokong KELANTAN sahaja. Perkara ini turut dilakukan oleh segelintir penyokong Negeri Sembilan yang mana membaling mercun dan botol menyebabkan kerosakan trek dan persekitaran di stadium berkenaan. Walaupun hanya segelintir, FAM peklu turut berlaku adil dengan mendenda Negeri Sembilan atas alasan sama yang diberi kepada KELANTAN; “Denda ini dikenakan atas sebab kegagalan KAFA mengawal para penyokong mereka.” – petikan.

Sebagai badan yang berprofil tinggi, FAM hendaklah membuat pertimbangan yang paling wajar atas setiap tindakan mereka. Perkara ini merujuk kepada tindakan FAM yang telah mendenda KAFA sebanyak RM500,000.00 secara kasarnya sepanjang tahun ini diatas kesalahan yang diluar kawalan badan tersebut. Perkara ini jelas menunjukkan bahawa FAM telah sedikit sebanyak menindas badan iniduk bola sepak KELANTAN, KAFA, dengan menambahkan lagi bebanan hutang yang ditanggung oleh badan tersebut menjadi lebih berat. Secara tidak langsung, perkara ini dilihat sebagai taktik FAM untuk menyingkirkan KAFA kerana masalah terbaru yang timbul adalah FAM telah membuat pernyataan bahawa mana-mana pasukan negeri atau kelab yang masih mempunyai hutang yang tertunggak tidak akan dibenarkan beraksi di Liga-M pada musim 2010.
Secara tidak langsung, perkara ini merujuk kepada skuad KELANTAN yang mana mempunyai begitu banyak hutang yang tertunggak dengan FAM atas denda yang dikenakan. Hal ini begitu memberi beban yang amat berat kepada KELANTAN sehinggakan Tan Sri Annuar Musa membuat permintaan sumbangan daripada para usahawan KELANTAN pada sidang akhbar dan melancarkan tabung kutipan derma ‘RM1 1KAFA’. Lihat saja pada denda yang dikenakan oleh FAM terhadap KAFA berikutan insiden rusuhan yang terburuk dalam sejarah bola sepak Malaysia di Stadium Sultan Mohammed IV pada tahun ini yang menyaksikan KELANTAN tewas kepada Negeri Sembilan pada saingan Liga Super. Pelbagai denda yang dikenakan oleh FAM seperti denda wang ringgit sebanyak lebih dari RM100,000.00, penggantungan beraksi di stadium keramat, Stadium Sultan Mohammed IV, dan dikehendaki beraksi di Stadium Nasional, Bukit Jalil selama beberapa bulan dan pelbagai lagi.

Denda ini teramat mendatangkan kesan kepada skuad Kijang yang menyaksikan skuad tersebut jatuh merudum dalam saingan Liga Super dan berakhir dengan kedudukan di tempat ke-5. Perkara ini berlaku disebabkan oleh stamina pemain yang terjejas kerana penat menaiki bas dan mengharungi perjalanan dari KELANTAN ke Kuala Lumpur atau ke tempat lawan secara berulang-alik setiap kali perlawanan yang dihadapi. Kini, denda yang terbaru yang dikenakan kepada skuad Kijang oleh FAM ialah denda beraksi tanpa penyokong di stadium. Denda ini secara tidak langsung akan menjatuhkan moral para pemain kerana sepertimana kita tahu, kekuatan moral pemain KELANTAN terletak pada sokongan padu oleh para penyokong.

Oleh hal yang demikian, perkara ini secara tidak langsung telah menjadi gunting dalam lipatan kepada skuad Kijang kerana mereka bakal mengalami zaman kejatuhan kembali. Justeru, saya yakin bahawa kehangatan saingan Liga-M akan kembali hambar kerana secara langsung kita dapat menyaksikan bahawa kehadiran skuad KELANTAN begitu memberikan impak kepada Liga-M dari segi sokongan juga saingan.

Sebagai kesimpulan, saya menyatakan disini bahawa tindakan FAM mendenda KAFA dengan berat adalah suatu tindakan yang LANGSUNG TIDAK WAJAR!!

Kem Himpunan Pemimpin Muda 2009

Anjuran : MENTERI PEBANGUNAN BELIA, SUKAN DAN NGO NEGERI KELANTAN

Program ni lanjutan daripada kem Asas Kepimpinan kat Pusat Latihan Belia JKR 10 mase bulan 7 kalau tak silap aku.. Tapi skarang aku nak cerite pasal program yang baru ni pulak..

Sebelum pergi kat kem ni. aku giler punye berdebar..dup..dap..dup..dap.. Gementar uh! Aku sendiri tak tahu pehal.. Maklum laa, program ni, besar kan.. Lagipun, mase kem yang dulu, aku jadi ketua.. Ketua bagi 7 buah sekolah YIK kat kelantan nie.. Gementar gak uh! hee~ Kena pulak aku nie bawak nama skolah kebanggaan aku >> MAAHAD MUHAMMADI LELAKI >> profile tinggi uh!

Tiba kat kem kijang uh, Hari pertama program, aku tengok punye la ramai peserta! Gementar ugak aku n the geng! Maklum la, ade 400 orang peserta dari 32 skolah YIK kat seluruh negeri Kelantan.. Time kitorang masuk dalam dewan, semua orang pandang.. Aku yang kat depan sekali! Gabra ugak uh! Lagipun time tu kitorang pakai jubah.. Bajet mantap laa! hee~

Lepas pada majlis perasmian and pembahagian bilik, pihak urusetia nak buat pemilihan untuk sape yang jadi ketua @ tok penghulu bagi semua peserta . Then, dengan persetujuan ramai, ketua akan di pilih dengan cara mengundi calon-calon yang dah jadi ketua kat kem yang sebelum ni.. Maka, tersenarailah aku... Berdepan pula dengan saingan aku yang merupakan seorang Ketua Pelajar, Ketua Pengawas, Ketua Badan Dakwah dan Ketua PRS! Kalau tengok kat dorang, memang perfect giler arh! Time tu, aku terfikir bahawa sah aku yang akan terkeluar dulu sebab aku HANYALAH Ketua Fotografi! Namun, pengundian tetap di buat secara adil dan saksama.. Akhirnya......

Satu detik yang amat mendebarkan.. Terus aku terfikir, " layakkah aku? bolehkah aku? mampukah aku? " Namun, semua itu aku tempuhi.. Memang menakutkan..Kem ni sememangnya menguji ketekalan aku.. Walaupun dalam hujan yang lebat, air yang memenuhi laluan di kem kijang tu, aku tetap jalankan tugas aku sebagai ketua.. Setiap kali nak ke dewan, aku akan pergi round kat semua asrama dan dorm and pastikan semua clear.. Begitulah seterusnya..

Sepanjang kem ni, hujan terus menduga kami.. Macam-macam alasan yang peserta bagi untuk dapat pengeculian atas sebab hujan.. Hadoi.. Penat laa.. Macam mane nak jadi pemimpin kalau hujan pun dah banyak merengek? Pandai-pandai la tegar..

Hari kedua, buat Qiamullail.. Mak ai, bapak punye liat dorang ney nak bangun! Tido ke da mati ntah.. Lastly, hanya beberapa kerat je yang bangun... Isk isk sik.. Sesungguhnya keadaan ini memang PENAT DAN TENAT.. Nak bangun Subuh pulak susah ugak! Kalau nak ikotkam hati aku, nak aje aku bok asrama n dorm dorang uh! p last last dapat ugak aku kejutkan sume.. Puas ati rase~ Pagi tu pulak, kena wat senaman aerobik lak... Hadoi.. Si urusetia plak suh ketua buat header.. Hadoi.. dapat kat aku, maen hentam aje laa... hahahaha~ tp, memang enjoy!

Petang pulak, time game, kitorang maen game buat bangunan dengan ahli kumpulan.. Buat bangunan dengan badan laa.. Punye la saket aku kene lanyak.. Atas belakang, bahu, dsb.. Hadoi... Tapi, kitorang dapat jadi team terbaek!hee~

Hari ketiga, kitorang bangun pagi-pagi n pakai hensem2 sebab urusetia cakap nak bawak kitorang pegi tempat yang special! Lepas sembahyang n kuliah subuh, akhirnya urusetia cakap dorang nak bawak pegi kat dewan duyung, Perdana Resort sebab ada Konvesyen Belia peringkat negeri Kelantan.. So, lepas sarapan pagi, kitorang berkumpul kat dalam dewan sementara tunggu bas.. Sementara menunggu tu, urusetia minta sesiapa yang nak bercakap kat depan, dipersilakan.. So, aku pun terus pergi tanpa menunggu orang laen.. Dalam ucapa. tu, macam-macam yang aku cakap.. And aku yakin, ia sememangnya memberikan kesan kepada para pendengar.. Kalau korang nak taw camne, tanye2 la kat sesape yang mendengar..

Raye dah ON THE WAY datang!!

Raya is coming!!huhuhuhuhu....Sukenye aku...Raya dah dekat..Memang happy..Baju bary..Kasut baru..Semangat pun baru!

Tapi...

Ramadhan dah bakal berakhir...Dah nak pergi...Meninggalkan kita semua..SEDIHNYA!!
Bulan yang terbaik, yang terhebat, yang terulung, yang teragung dan yang paling menakjubkan sudah begitu hampir untuk meninggalkan kita semua..Sedarlah wahai teman..Manfaatkan malam terakhir Ramadhan pada malam ini sebaik-baiknya..Buru anugerah dan keistimewaan terulung yang terdapat padanya..Kerana kita masih belum pasti akan bersua denagn bulan yang mulia ini pada masa akan datang..

Syawal pula akan menjelang tiba...Raikannya dengan seribu keceriaan..Kerana ianya sunat pada hukum..Namun, hendaklah kita sentiasa ingat kepada ALLAH.

Aku pon terus la panas! " Woi! Miskin pon, skoloh agama jugok hok melahirkan pelajar yang bulih result 18A, 20A spm!! Skoloh menengaoh biaso hok bolok tu ado ko? Nok bulih 13A pon belum tentu.."
"Bab tu meme la.... Kegiatan ko eh..."
"Okay. Skoloh menengah ado kow jadi wakil Kelantan dalam Forum Remaja peringkat Antarabangsa n bulih nombor 2? Skoloh mano hok dapat nombor satu program keusahawanan p.u.m peringkat negeri Kelantan? Maahad! Kadet polis skoloh mano hop wakil kelantan gi tanding peringkat antarabangsa kat sarawak? MAAHAD LELAKI taw! skoloh menengah bolok2 ado kow? Debat perdana skoloh mano champion? Maahad lagi! SAHUR!!!

Sahur.. Bab ni memang susah kepada kaki membuta.. Kena bangun pada waktu dinihari.. Memang mencabar.. hahahaha.. Tapi sahur best! And ada hikmahnya... Ikutilah..

>Sahur ialah satu amalan 'makan awal pagi' @ 'bekalan' pada orang yang berpuasa pada hari yang berpuasa pada keesokan harinya. Memang mencabar kepada para 'kaki membuta' kerana terpaksa korbankan waktu tidur diorang untuk bangun bersahur. Ingat aku dulu2 (time kecik2), bangun sahur mudah, tapi nak makan tak lalu. Nasi tu macam da tak de rasa. Hahahha. Tapi skang, da okay da! Selera banyak! Hahaha..

>>Sahur memudahkan solat fardhu subuh. Sahur sunat di lambat-lambatkan sehingga rapat dengan waktu subuh. Perkara ini akan memudahkan lagi kita untuk menunaikan solat fardhu subuh tanpa rasa mengantuk. Baru saja lepas makan, takkan dah mengantuk dah..

Puasa Udah Datang!

PUASA udah datang...Tibalah saatnya kena tahan makan minum lagi....tapi sebenarnya bukan setakat tu je....kena tahan banyak lagi...huhuhuhu...semua benda yang berkaitan dengan hukum ; HALAL, HARAM, SAH, BATAL, WAJIB, HARUS, SUNAT dan MAKRUH. Perlu kita teliti mengenai perkara itu. Seperti post saya yang terdahulu, "pahala bagi setiap amalan wajib akan di gandakan, manakala pahala bagi amalan sunat di sama tarafkan dengan pahala amalan wajib." dan bersambung dengan hal itu, saya nak membincangkan mengenai pahala puasa. Secara amnya, pahala puasa akan di perolehi melalui cara menjalankan rukun-rukun sah puasa. Tapi adakah ia mencukupi?Bagi saya, masih belum cukup. Kerana ia adalah FAHAMAN AM.

>Pahala amalan bergantung kepada amalan yang kita lakukan. Sedarkah? Bahawa pahala amalan boleh batal jika melakukan sesuatu perbuatan yang haram di sisi Islam? Pada hakikatnya, puasa kita masih sah selagi kita tidak melanggar rukun SAH puasa. Namun, pahala amalan kita bakal bernilai '0' jika amalan kita tidak di jaga. Macam mana tu?

>>Contohnya; Mebuka atau melihat AURAT orang lain. Pada hukum ISLAM adalah haram dan BERDOSA(bagi yang melihat) manakala berdosa besar bagi yang MEMBUKA AURAT. Jadi, perkara yang di anggap temeh ini sememangnya tidak menjadi persoalan bagi mereka yang tidak mengambil tahu. Pahala amalan kita semakin berkurang apabila semakin banyak amalan MAZMUMAH ataupun AMALAN YANG TIDAK BAIK yang kita lakukan. Secara diam, ia akan menolak pahala amaln kita dan secara tidak langsungnya, PUASA KITA TIDAK ADA NILAI. Puasa yang kita lakukan, hanya akan menjadi sia-sia dan hanya sekadar lapar dan dahaga sahaja. Mahukah anda perkara sebegitu terjadi kepada anda? Semestinya tidak. Jadi, jagalah amalan anda sebaik yang mungkin.

>>>PUASA MENGAJAR KITA BERSIMPATI.
>Puasa adalah satu ibadat yang bermaksud "MENAHAN" dari segi bahasa. Pada segi istilah pula ialah, "MENAHAN DARIPADA MAKAN DAN MINUM BESERTA AMALAN YANG MEMBATALKAN PUASA BERMULA TERBIT MATAHARI SEHINGGA TERBENAM MATAHARI BERSAMA RUKUN YANG TELAH DI KHUSUSKAN." Apabila kita merasai cubaan lapar dan dahaga sepanjang hari, anda akan memahami bagaimanakah derita yang di alami oleh meraka yang tidak berkemampuan menahan lapar dan dahaga. Pada masa yang sama, ia akan mengajar kita menjada seorang yang baik. Contoh amalan yang di tuntut ketika bulan Ramadhan ialah BERSEDEKAH. Bersedekah adalah amalan sunat dan berbalik kepada kata-kata saya yang terdahulu, "pahala bagi setiap amalan wajib akan di gandakan, manakala pahala bagi amalan sunat di sama tarafkan dengan pahala amalan wajib." bermakna sedekat anda itu akan di beri pahala yang sama taraf dengan pahala amalan wajib. Disamping itu, kita merujuk kembali kepada JANJI ALLAH bahawa setiap sedekah yang kita lakukan akan di balas dan sedekah pada bulan Ramadhan akan di balas berlipat kali ganda dan serta merta. Pendek kata; CASH. Di jadikan satu teladan bagi kita, sama-samalah kita mengikuti kisah Saidina ALI BIN ABI TALIB bersama isterinya, SITI FATIMAH BINTI MUHAMMAD pada bulan Ramadhan.

>>Pada waktu Ramadahn, semua umat Islam akan berpuasa sepetimana Nabi MUHAMMAD S.A.W. dan juga Ali bin Abi Talib bersama isterinya. Sudah tiga hari, Ali dan isterinya berbuka puasa dan bersahur hanya dengan air sejuk tanpa makanan di samping suasana padang pasir yang teramat panas. Pada hari yang ketiga, mereka amat memerlukan makan untuk berbuka lalu setelah berbincang dengan isterinya, Ali bersetuju untuk menjual baju besinya untuk mendapatkan wang. Setelah berjaya menjual baju besinya, Ali memperoleh sebanyak 6 Riyal( dalam anggaran 6000 pada zaman sekarang) dan berjalan untuk pulang kerumahnya. Dalam perjalanan pulang, seorang lelaki tua menyapa Ali lalu memintanya sejumlah wang dengan berkata "Wahai Ali. Aku adalah seorang tua yang lemah dan tidak berdaya. Sudah beberapa hari aku tidak menjamah sebarang makanan untuk berbuka. Ya Ali, Berikanlah aku wang kamu untuk aku mendapatkan makanan di waktu berbuka nanti." ujar lelaki tua tersebut. Tanpa menunggu lama, Ali menyerahkan sahaja wang sebanyak 6 Riyal tadi kepada lelaki tua itu seikhlas hatinya. Setelah berlalu dan menyambung perjalanan menuju kerumah, Ali masih berkira-kira bagaimanakah dia harus menjawab terhadap isterinya tentang hasil penjualan baju besi tadi. Akhirnya, Ali nekad untuk memberitahu isterinya mengenai hal yang sebenar dan meneruskan perjalanan pulang ke rumah. Sesampainya ke rumah, Ali di datangi oleh seorang lelaki dan memintanya untuk tolong menjual unta lelaki itu. Lelaki itu mahu mendapatkan 100 Riyal dari hasil penjualan unta itu dan untungnya di berikan sepenuhnya kepada Ali. Unta itu berada dalam keadaan baik dan elok. Ali bersetuju dan terus membawa unta itu ke sebuah perkampungan dan tiba-tiba dia di sapa oleh seorang lelaki. Lelaki itu bertanya-tanya samada jika Ali berkira-kira ingin menjual unta itu. Lalu Ali menjawab; "Ya. Sememangnya ada seorang lelaki yang meminta aku untuk menolongnya dengan menjual unta ini dan dia memahukan nilai sebanyak 100 Riyal untuk unta ini dan bahagia untungnya di berikan sepenuhnya kepada aku.". Lalu lelaki itu bersetuju dan membeli unta itu sebanyak 160 Riyal. Lalu Ali melakukan urusan jual beli di situ dan membawa pulang wang itu kepada tuannya dan wang sebanya 60 Riyal sebagai untung di perolehinya. Selepas itu, Ali berlalu dan terus menuju ke rumah Rasulullah S.A.W. dan bertanya kepada baginda mengenai perkara yang terjadi itu. Lalu Rasulullah bertanya; "Adakah lelaki itu seorang yang tua?" lalu Ali menjawab "Ya, wahai Rasulullah. Lelaki itu merupakan seorang yang tua." jawab Ali. Rasulullah menjawab; "Untuk pengetahuanmu Ali, lelaki tua yang memintamu untuk menjual untanya itu adalah Jibril dan lelaki tua yang membeli unta itu adalah Mikail. Sesungguhnya ini adalah balasan Allah terhadap sedekahmu yang ikhlas tadi. Terimalah sedekah itu kerana ia adalah ganjaran daripada Allah S.W.T."

Karnival Sains Dan Teknologi 2009.
Di Dewan Kompleks Balai Islam.
6 - 9 OGOS 2009.

Huh! Tengok ade member yang post sal ney, terdetiklah di hati ini untuk mengepost ugak.. tambahan pula time-time cam nie...dah takde keje laen laa...huhuhuhuhu... Karnival ney dia wat macam pc fair gak r.. Kebanyakan pesertanya dari kumpulan penjual dan pengedar alatan teknologi. Karnival ni di buka untuk orang ramai berkunjung. And telah di takdirkan bahawa aku akan terlibat ugak dalam karnival tu bila aku and the members di tugaskan untuk menjaga booth Yayasan Islam Kelantan (YIK) bersama dengan dak skolah Maahad Muhammadi Perempuan (MMP)(malah nop ngodoh jah..sbb saem ugop..) and Maahad Tahfiz Sains Tanah Merah (MTS). Firstly, aq nop oyap pasal ari prtama,;

>Hari pertama, aku n the members ; Munir, Alimin, Fikri and Amir pegi kat balai Islam pagi2 lagi ngan motorsikal. Sampai je kat sane, kitorang terpaksa tunggu dalam 15 minit gak la sebab tunggu pintu bukak. Mule2, aku ngan Munir terpaksa pegi balik kat sekolah balek sebab nak cari n pegi amik beg Munir tertinggal kat skola. Cari punye cari, kat dalam bilik, dalam tandas, dalam longkang, tepi tingkap, bawah meja, bawah kerusi, bawah kaki, celah almari, dalam almari, atas almari, bawah almari, tepi almari, celah pintu, belakang pintu, depan pintu, kantin, koridor, lobi, wakaf, astaka, sebelah tepi, depan mata, belakang mata, n mana-mana je. Macam2 skill kitorang gune sebab nak cari beg si Munir tu. tapi last2, jumpa kat tempat parking motor, atas motor orang laen,(sebelah motor Munir time sebelom pegi tadi). Punye la bangang, aku rase macam nak baling je beg tu sekali dengan tuan die..haih.. Bile kitorang pegi Balai Islam balik, pintu still belom buka. So, kitorang plan nak pegi makan dulu. tapi, baru je kitorang nak pegi, ade abang kat situ buka pintu. So, cancel je la plan nak makan tadi. Masuk je kat dalam dewan tu, Fikri terus pegi kat booth YIK, and keluarkan terus dia punya alatan(kain langsir, alas meja, riben, dsb)(bergerak bagaikan professoinal), then kitorang yang laen follow jew.. Lepas siap kitorang buat semua tu, barulah golongan yang sepatutnya ; Maahad Muhammadi Perempuan (MMP) sampai. Isk isk isk... Dunia dah terbalik.. haih.. Lepas tu, majlis perasmian, n pembahagian hadiah pertandingan. Sekolah aku ; MAAHAD MUHAMMADI LELAKI, menang JOHAN dalam PERTANDINGAN LAMAN WEB.. Aku wat kerja biasa aku, as PHOTOGRAPHER, kena la ambil gambar.. Tapi agak frust sebab hari tu DSLR aku tak dapat guna. Tengok DSLR yang geng MTS punye, meleleh air liur aku..(aku nak DSLR tu!!!) Then, kitorang bersuai kenal ala kadar sesama sendiri. Hari ni, aku kene bertugas sampai ke malam. tugas dia ; kena jaga booth YIK and promote skolah2 YIK (skola ugama arab rakyat) kat para pengunjung yang datang kat karnival tu and lalu lalang(ade lalang ke?) kat situ. Satu hari tu tak ade ape ape sangat. Aku pegi round2, jalan2 kat dalam dewan tu. tengok2 ape yang ade. Aku tak memainkan peranan sangat hari nie.. Sampai pukul 6, aku dah mula boring. Aku duk pikir2 nak wat pe. And datang satu idea(asal dari munir) nak passkan je aku punya shift kat geng MTS sebab diorang stay sampai malam. and booth tu tak de la busy sangat.. Lastly, dapat! Akhirnya aku dapat balek awal dengan perasaan girangnya..huhuhyuhhuhu!!

>>Hari kedua. Aku tak bertugas hari ni. So, tak de la citer pasal arini. Aku pegi gak kat sane, tapi sekadar singgah je la. Tu pon sebab kebetulan aku ade keje and lalu kat situ. Aku pegi sane ngan pakai seluar jeans and t-shirt berkolar je. Memang aku tahu penampilah aku tak sesuai dengan booth YIK, tapi aku pegi gak. At least aku dah jumpe aku punyer camera charger duk kat bawah meja kat dalam booth tu. Nasib baik.

>>>Hari ketiga, aku bertugas hari ni. Pukul 12:45 p.m. aku dah sampai kat Balai Islam. Aku sepatutnya masuk bertugas pukul 3 p.m. tapi biarlah aku datang awal pon. Tak salah kan? Sesampainya aku di booth, aku tengok Munir and Alimin dah ade dah. Rupenye dorang lagi awal. Booth YIK sememangnya mendapat sambutan hangat hari ni. Ini semua kerana Munir bawa datang satu program flash yang di beri nama "The Flash Mind Reader". Program ney memaparkan bilangan angka nombor dari bilangan 1 hingga 99 yang di sertakan satu simbol terhadap setiap satu nombor. untuk menjalankan program itu, anda di kehendaki memilih nombor yang mempunyai dua angka (e.g 28). Sekarang anda sudah mendapati ada dua angka pada nombor itu, yakni 2 dan 8. Lalu, anda di kehendaki menambah ( + ) kedua-dua angka itu (28 : 2 + 8 = 10) dan akan menghasilkan satu nombor baru (10). Kemudian berbalik kepada nombor asal tadi, (28), tolakkan dengan nombor yang baru di hasilkan melalui penambahan tadi (10), (28 : 2 + 8 = 10 ; 28 - 10 = 18) dan nombor dari hasil penolakan tadi, (jawapan tadi) (18), cari nombor itu di skrin dan kenalpasti simbol kepada nombor anda tadi dan anda di kehendaki tidak memberitahu kepada sesiapa tentang jawapan dan apa sahaja proses yang anda turuti tadi. Kemudian, salah seorang daripada kami, (pada ketika itu, kami tidak mengetahui apa yang anda proses, nombor mana yang anda pilih dan apa jawapan anda beserta simbol) lalu membaca minda dan meneka apakah simbol kepada jawapan anda dan skrin tadi juga akan meneka apakah simbol kepada jawapan anda dengan tepat sekali. Ini semua di panggil "Mind Reader" dan jika anda ingin mengetahui bagaimana cara dan helahnya, hantarlah anak-anak anda mahupun saudara-saudara anda ke sekolah di bawah naungan Yayasan Islam Kelantan seperti MAAHAD MUHAMMADI LELAKI, MAAHAD MUHAMMADI PEREMPUAN dan MAAHAD TAHFIZ SAINS TANAH MERAH. Anda akan memperolehi jawapannya dan pastikan anak @ saudara anda itu menyertai dan bergiat dalam UNIT IT dan MULTIMEDIA. JANGAN BIARKAN HIDUP ANDA diSELUBUNGI MIND READER....(gaya menyeramkan seperti Abu Bakar Atan dalam misteri nusantara...). Program ni memang menarik perhatian dan minat orang ramai. sememang mendapat sambutan yang hangat sehingga penat giler aku hari tu. Penat pun ade, sakit tekak pun ade, suka pun ade, dan macam-macam lagi. Ramai orang yang tak puas hati. Nak tahu jugak ape helah die. Sampai ade abang dari bomba tu datang ntah brape ratus kali sambil bawak member2 die. Nak bongkarkan ugak rahsie tu. Tuduh kitorang macam2 ; penipu, pembohong, tak adil dll. Sampai ade yang betul2 tak percaya sampai pegi cek kat seluruh kawasan yang terdekat samada ada camera ke hape ke. Tak percaya ugak. Ade plak pelajar dari sekolah mane ntah, test skali dah tak nak dah.. Takut kot.. Jangan risau. Keselamatan anda adalah tanggungjawab kami.Hahahaha.. Em ade abang tu, duk berbaek2 ngan kitorang.. And ada jugak MAGICIAN datang kat booth kitorang.. Abang Syahrizal name die. Die buat magic kat depan mata aku free je!huhuhuhuhu! Lepak2 ngan abang tu. Sembang2. Then, die chow. and pasal cabutan bertuah pulak. Aku ambil nombor cabutan tu, and aku dapat, cume aku tak dengar sangat time die umum. TIGA kali melepas! Hwaaaa!!! Aku tak dengar bukan sebab ape, duk tengah main ngan mind reader tu gak!
haih..Sampai malam orang tak surut2 pegi booth kitorang. Mind reader tu lah jadi tumpuan diorang. Lastly, aku cabut pukul 9:35 p.m.

>>>>Hari ke empat. Last day la hari ni. sedeyh aku..hahahahaha.. Bukan sal pe. RAHSIA. Memang aku moody giler hari tu. Entah kenape bodoh sangat aku tak dapat nak kawal perasaan sendiri hari tu. And ade satu makhluk tu, mule2 aku duk main mind reader tu dengan orang2 ramai. Tengah2 aku duk terangkan tu, die mari mencelah n cakap "alah, barang lama. Ketinggalan zaman ar. Bolok ar. Tak ade class."(dalam pelak KELANTAN). aku da bengang, aku chow cam tu jew. Tinggalkan terus. Lepas pada tu pulak, aku tengok dari atas. Die pulak yang duk maen mind reader tu n duk terangkan kat orang laen( orang HUSM ade gak time tu)... HIPOKRIT!! Jahanam punya orang! Sambung aku punya moody.(hajat2 tak nak tunjuk kat orang). Start pada watku, saat dan ketika itu, aku moody. And aku TERmelepaskan aku punya moody kat member2 yang lain. And aku ada berkasar sikit. Muka aku memang tak leyh blah ar ngan muka moody. Dan akhirnya berakhirlah suasana pahit manis kenangan ketika Karnival Sains dan Teknologi 2009.

Kan guna formasi 'bekalan' juga kan..

>>>Lain? Oh ya. Okay. Kita masih berpegang kepada formasi 'bekalan' tu. Tahu tak perkataan SAHUR? kalau bulan puasa, mesti famous perkataan ni. Famous camne? Famous dengan waktu yang memang manusia paling liat untuk bangun. And sekarang dah jadi satu bahan hiburan, gelak tawa, lawak dll. Sahur adalah satu amalan sunat yang amat di tuntut dalam IBADAT PUASA. And, untuk pengetahuan am, setiap amalan WAJIB akan diGANDAKAN BERLIPAT KALI GANDA PAHALA AMALANNYA. Manakala bagi setiap amalan SUNAT akan di SAMA TARAFKAN dengan PAHALA AMALAN WAJIB. Tidakkah anda tertarik? Cuba bayangkan jika PAHALA itu adalah sesuatu yang nyata? Saya yakin pasti semua umat manusia akan terkejar-kejar untuk mendapatkannya seperti mengejar kekayaan dunia yang tidak abadi. Ini adalah satu ujian terhadap manusia. ALLAH mahu manusia yakin dan betul2 berpegang teguh kepada-Nya dengan membuat perkara2 yang ghaib. Disini akan didapati insan yang benar2 berpegang teguh dengan-Nya dan ikhlas dalam melakukan IBADAT dimuka bumi ini sebagai HAMBA kepada-NYA. Berbalik kepada sahur. Kalau ada yang mengatakan "walaupun bersahur, tapi masih tak cukup". Okay. Tahukah anda bila masanya bersahur? And bila masanya di sunatkan?

Ballack calls a two-horse race

MICHAEL Ballack dismissed Liverpool's title challenge yesterday and predicted a two-horse race between Chelsea and Manchester United.

Only goal difference separates Liverpool from Chelsea at the top of the table, but the Germany midfield player believes the Merseyside club is more suited to the UEFA Champions League because its squad lacks the depth to compete for the entire season.

Liverpool has won one Champions League and reached another final in four seasons under Rafael Benitez, but Ballack's views will not go down well at Anfield. Liverpool has been in the top two all season and became the first side to win a league match at Stamford Bridge in 4 1/2 years last month when it beat Chelsea 1-0.

"It's always the big four that everyone speaks about, but it's still about Chelsea and Man U," Ballack said. "Arsenal are already behind, which makes it very difficult for them. Liverpool are very good at this moment, but they are always a club for the Champions League, partly because they can put all their focus on one or two matches.

"But when you look at results and squads over the past couple of seasons, I think us and Man U are just a little bit stronger."

In yesterday's games, Roman Pavlyuchenko scored an early goal to give Tottenham a 1-0 win over 10-man Blackburn and lift Harry Redknapp's team out of the relegation zone.

Spurs outplayed Rovers for long spells at White Hart Lane, even before Blackburn lost left back Martin Olsson in the 39th after he received his second yellow card. The defender was also at fault for the goal. He tried to beat Aaron Lennon but lost possession, and the winger burst down the right flank and pulled the ball back to the unmarked Pavlyuchenko. The Russian striker beat former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson with a first-time shot.

Lennon repeatedly created openings for Spurs with his weaving runs, and Olsson was sent off for hauling the winger down.

"Aaron's a terrific player," Spurs coach Harry Redknapp said. "He's a threat, he carries the game to the opposition, he's got pace, he excites people and his confidence is sky high at the moment."

While Spurs climbed out of the last three spots, Blackburn slipped to second last. Wigan, which hosts Everton overnight, also dropped into the relegation zone.

Scolari Still Invite Robinho

Chelsea were linked with the Brazilian international attacker throughout the summer but on the final day of the transfer window, Manchester City snatched the player for a 32million deal from Real Madrid.

During that time Scolari was fuming with Anger for not having being able to bring Robinho to Stamford Bridge and claimed that the former Real Madrid man could have been the best player in the world if he was at Chelsea.

Chelsea captain John Terry wants the Blues to bounce back from their Roma mauling to make sure of a place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

The club head to Bordeaux on Wednesday looking for a victory to erase the nightmare 3-1 defeat in Rome.

Chelsea gave the French side a 4-0 hammering at Stamford Bridge and Terry is confident they can bounce back from the disappointment of the Rome game.

"The lads bounced back from the disappointment of Rome with everyone showing a great attitude to give a great performance in Blackburn (a 2-0 win)," said the England skipper.

"Blackburn is a notoriously tough place to go but with the bad weather and Rome behind us, it was an even tougher fixture.

"Rome apart we are not conceding many goals and Nicolas Anelka is on fire, not just with his goalscoring but in his all-round link-up play.

"It is tight at the top both in the Premier and the Champions League, so we cannot afford to slip up.

"The defeat in Rome put a little bit of a bad taste in our mouths and was a bitter reminder that we have to keep on winning until the other teams crumble around us.

"It is not just the management who can be important after a result like the one in Rome, it is all the backroom staff.

"They play a big part in getting us right. Darren, the young chef, brings his guitar along now and sings a few songs. There were a few Elvis Presley numbers played before the Blackburn game."

Although Anelka is in the best form of his Chelsea career, Luiz Felipe Scolari will have Didier Drogba available for the Bordeaux match even though he is serving a domestic suspension.

But it is the timely return of Germany midfielder Michael Ballack that has team-mate Deco drooling.

Ballack played half-an-hour as a substitute in the 3-0 win over West Brom last week and is set to start against the French side.

"It is good for us to have him back because he is a great, great player," said Deco.

"We need more players because we are playing many games and have some injuries.

The Drog Returns Again!

Didier Drogba is set to return to the Chelsea side as they prepare to face Champions League opponents Bordeaux on Wednesday. The Ivorian has missed the first match in a three game ban that was imposed after he threw a coin into the crowd during the Carling Cup match at Stamford Bridge in which Chelsea were beaten by Burnley.

However, the ban does not apply to European matches and, after Chelsea could only stutter to a goal-less draw last Saturday against Newcastle, manager Phil Scolari will be hoping that Drogba will give his attack the bite that they lacked in the league game.

His team mate Florent Malouda has spoken in support of Drogba's return saying: It will be a good thing for us because with what is happening now. I think he will be angry and show he has things to do for the team."

The French winger continued: "Didier is the type of player who can find a solution when you play these teams but as you can see Nicolas Anelka is doing well at this moment."

He added: "We had the players and the mentality to reach victory against Newcastle but we have to keep on trying and we hope the next game at home will find the solution."

Chelsea only head Liverpool on goal difference despite having dropped just seven points from the opening 13 games of the season.

And manager Scolari believes it will take a record-breaking campaign to guarantee Chelsea their third title in five years in his debut season in charge.

The Brazilian, who spoke glowingly of the harmony inside his squad, said: "We know that if we want to win the Premier League, we need to win 85 per cent of the points on offer.

"We have a focus for the Premier League games. Three points is important for every game. But we have a good balance and the players know this.

"After the games we lost, we showed the players why we lost and they tried to change that for the next game. In each case, in the next game we have played well."

Scolari's 85 per cent target equates to 97 points over the season, two more than Jose Mourinho's Blues side accrued to set the current record mark and take their first title in 2005. After Manchester United's 2-1 defeat at Arsenal, which has left them languishing eight points behind Chelsea and Liverpool, United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said: "We have got to get above 85 points to have a chance of winning the league, so we must keep going for it."

Chelsea are behind the schedule set for them by Scolari, although back-to-back wins over Newcastle today and Bolton next week would take them within a fraction of the target figure.

Scolari added: "I need to look at the schedule again. After we have played Newcastle and Bolton I will have a better idea about the points we have and what we wanted to have. I will tell you then."

The Brazilian, however, was far more emphatic about the value of a squad willing to exchange views and opinions without it descending into damaging acrimony.

And while he pointedly insisted he was not referring to Arsenal, Arsene Wenger or William Gallas, the contrast between the sweetness and light he described at Stamford Bridge and the apparent civil war across the capital could not have been more evident.

"We need to look and talk and think about what has happened, before games, even at half-time. But after they have spoken, it is my time.

"Bad results can create problems.

But what is important is that you've involved the players so they understand one bad result doesn't change our focus.

"In that time what you have to say i s: 'Remember, remember, remember; OK, go'. I'm the man who needs to decide what happens."

Scolari said he had been in such situations many, many times, but that he was happy for players to speak their minds as long as they did not breach his code of respect for the structure of the club.

"Sometimes you give the players the chance to say something and they go too far," he explained. "Then we need to say: 'Look, the position is this'.

"I am a coach, and at times I am a friend or a father too, because I am older than them and have had more experiences.

"But when I am a coach, I need to be able bring a player into my office and tell him the way we have to follow and if it is required, to say: 'You are wrong; out'. My job is to solve the problem and finish it."

Lampard fit for Chelsea's Premier match with Newcastle

The midfielder missed England's win in Germany on Wednesday with sore ribs but will return to the field for Chelsea this weekend when they host Newcastle United at Standford Bridge.

Joe Cole is also back in the squad and goalkeeper Petr Cech is also fit again after recovering from a calf strain that kept him out against West Bromwich Albion last week.

Striker Didier Drogba, however, begins a three-match ban, while Scolari was sweating over his Portuguese contingent who played the international friendly for their country in Brazil.

"I didn't receive Deco, Jose Bosingwa or Paulo Ferreira because they arrived from Brazil at 6pm (on Thursday). After 15 hours flying it's impossible to train," he told Chelsea's website.

"If you don't have a good atmosphere you will start the game in bad condition," he said. "I think [it's importance to the club is] 50 per cent minimum. If you are happy, your job is fantastic. We created that atmosphere and after this, it is easy."

Chelsea captain John Terry was openly critical of the team following the recent defeat against Roma but, unlike Gallas, there was an emphasis on collective responsibility rather than any individual incident. Scolari says that he encourages his players to speak frankly, whether exchanging positive or negative views. "John Terry may be critical because he is more angry than other players," he said. "But, in the dressing room, all of the players are critical. The players respect my level and I respect the players. We have lines.

"We talk – I understand, the player understands, the board understands, we finish the problem. They are very professional and I like this so much. My authority is the normal authority. Sometimes I am a friend, a father and sometimes I am a coach. Sometimes, as a coach, I need to say 'you are wrong'."

Scolari's man-management has extended to his supportive handling of Dider Drogba following the coin-throwing incident that has resulted in a three-match Football Association ban that will rule him out of today's game against Newcastle.

It is also understood that he has been fined two weeks' wages for the lapse in discipline, but Scolari said: "Didier did not go to the pitch with the coin, Didier is not the man that started it."

Scolari also expressed his hope that Michael Ballack will extend his contract beyond next season. "He is young and plays very well, if he wants, I want and if Chelsea have a deal it's fantastic," he said.

Although top of the league, Chelsea are one point adrift of Scolari's "85 per cent" ratio that he regards as necessary to be sure of winning the Premier League. It is a standard that would result in a record-breaking haul at the end of the season of 97 points.

Cole and Cech are confirmed, Lampard is a very slight doubt. Ballack is back, but the newly returned Drogba is banned for 3 matches and won't be making an appearance until December.

With 6 players still out with injuries, the bench line is looking rather sparse. But the squad is full of talent.

LONDON: Luiz Felipe Scolari has quickly grown to love life in England but the Chelsea manager has put sight-seeing to the back of his mind as he tries to keep the Londoners on top of the English Premier League.
Scolari and his family have settled well in their new home near Chelsea's training ground in leafy Cobham, south of London, but the Brazilian has made only a handful of trips into the capital because he is so focused on winning silverware this season.

Like Arsene Wenger, who once claimed he only knew the way to Arsenal's stadium, training ground and Heathrow airport, Scolari is too consumed by success to worry about trips to Big Ben and the Tower of London.

That didn't change this week ahead of Newcastle's visit to Stamford Bridge today, even though he had only a handful of players to work with due to the international friendlies.

"My life in England is a normal life as a coach. I have more time for the club, for training, and I spend some time with the family when I have time for this," he said.
"My family like to stay in England, my son is studying at a beautiful, big school and he visited some more places than me and has more friends.

"London? No, I have visited three or four times when I was free with my family, but when I go to London it is to play at Stamford Bridge!"

Scolari has more pressing concerns as he waits to see whether Frank Lampard and goalkeeper Petr Cech can shakes off their injuries.

Seven other first team players are expected to be out of action too, as Alex, Joe Cole, Juliano Belletti, Ricardo Carvalho, Michael Essien, Ashley Cole and Franco Di Santo are all still struggling.

Recent media attention has turned the public's conscience to green tea, an ancient Asian blend that has become massively popular in the Western world. There are a number of outlandish claims regarding the health benefits of green tea being thrown around, so wading through all the BS can be anything but soothing.

So, what are the health benefits of green tea?

What's inside?

To understand the health benefits of green tea, let's first take a look at what's inside each cup:

Green tea is chock-full of polyphenols, phytochemicals with potent antioxidant properties that give green tea its bitter flavor.
Green tea contains six primary polyphenols, known as catechins.
Green tea contains more catechins than black or oolong tea.
Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is the most active and studied of green tea's catechins.
Green tea also contains alkaloids such as caffeine (although in lower quantities than black tea), which give green tea its stimulating properties.

Is green tea healthy?

If only life were cut-and-dry, this question would have a simple answer. However, as with many natural supplements or remedies, the verdict on green tea is still up in the air. While some studies have suggested that green tea offers health benefits, many institutions, including the National Institutes of Health, agree that there simply isn't enough evidence to definitively proclaim the health benefits of green tea. Keeping in mind that more study is needed, green tea has shown modest benefits for some major health conditions:

Cardiovascular Disease

Several large studies have suggested that drinking green tea reduces the risk of stroke and coronary artery disease, although results are mixed. Green tea may further lower cholesterol, but it seems to have no effect on blood pressure. The FDA, therefore, has rejected a recent bid by green tea makers to allow tea labels to claim that green tea is heart-healthy.

Cancer

Human studies of green tea in cancer prevention have been conflicting. However, animal studies have been much more convincing. Green tea catechin extracts are thus being investigated for their anticancer properties in current clinical trials.

Weight Loss

Some studies suggest that drinking green tea or taking green tea extract pills can increase metabolism and help burn fat, but results are mixed once again.

Along with those health conditions listed above, other studies have suggested that green tea is helpful for diabetes, stress, dental cavities, protection against UV radiation, and viral infection. The bottom line, however, is that scientists just don't know enough to make any clear recommendations.

How much green tea should I drink?

Now that you understand that drinking green tea may offer some health benefits, why not give it a shot? But how many cups a day should you drink? Well, brace yourself: The majority of studies that found any health benefit had participants drink anywhere from three to 10 cups of green tea daily. In other words -- get brewin'!

How should I prepare my tea?

You'll get most benefit out of freshly brewed hot tea that has steeped for three to five minutes, a process that helps to bring out the catechins. Green tea made from older leaves also tends to have more catechins. Decaffeinated or bottled tea preparations and instant teas have less of those favorable chemicals and compounds, whereas green tea extract capsules provide similar amounts of catechins to freshly brewed tea. Typically, you'll want to take in 250 mg to 400 mg of green tea polyphenols per day or more (equals about three cups per day).

Does adding milk affect my tea?

Though green tea is not normally prepared with milk, one study found that the addition of milk blocked the healthy action of green or black tea catechins. Several other studies, however, have refuted this claim.

Is green tea harmful?

Green tea does contain active ingredients, particularly caffeine, which can cause problems such as an increased heart rate or insomnia for some. Caffeine also crosses the placenta and is found in breast milk, which means that pregnant or breastfeeding women might want to avoid green tea.

Green tea also contains tannin, which may limit iron absorption from fruits or vegetables. Taking tea with some lemon (high in vitamin C) should counteract this.

There are also numerous drugs with which green tea should not be combined. Many of these drug interactions are due to green tea's caffeine content. Didier Drogba is banned for three matches

Didier Drogba has been given a three-match suspension after admitting violent conduct in last week's Carling Cup fourth-round tie defeat on penalties at home to Burnley, but the Chelsea striker appears to have escaped a club fine.

Although Drogba had apologised immediately after the match for throwing a coin back among visiting fans, an FA regulatory commission handed down a punishment yesterday identical to that received by Jamie Carragher, the Liverpool defender, who was sent off for a similar offence in a match against Arsenal at Highbury in January 2002.Drogba, the Ivory Coast striker, will miss home matches against Newcastle United and Arsenal and the game away to Bolton Wanderers, but he will be available for the Champions League game against Bordeaux in France next Wednesday. Moreover, Luiz Felipe Scolari, the Chelsea manager, said last week that Drogba was not yet ready to play 90 minutes after recovering from a knee injury, so the extra rest may work in his favour.

“Didier did something he should not have done,” Bruce Buck, the Chelsea chairman, said. “However, you have to look at the fans. I believe the FA will find the culprits.”

Chelsea and the FA are liaising with police, who are studying CCTV and Sky footage of the match, while Burnley fans back in West London for last Saturday's match against Queens Park Rangers were handed leaflets appealing for witnesses. However, no arrests have been made.

Chelsea striker deserves to be punished but whoever threw coin at Stamford Bridge is real villain of the piece

All the talk is about how long Didier Drogba's ban should be and that's taking the focus away from the person who started the whole thing - the fan who threw the coin at him.

There's no doubt Drogba was irresponsible and deserves to be punished by the FA, though not in my opinion the police. But it would be ridiculous if he paid a heavier penalty than David Norris, the Ipswich Town player who made the “handcuffs” sign in support of Luke McCormick, the goalkeeper who was sent to prison for causing the deaths of two kids in a car accident. That idiotic gesture must have been premeditated on some level while Drogba's was spontaneous. To me, Norris's behaviour was worse.

Incidents of players abusing fans, as the Chelsea striker did, are very rare while week in, week out, footballers are on the receiving end of disgusting abuse. It's human nature that occasionally some will crack. I certainly did a couple of times in my playing days. When Eric Cantona karate-kicked that Crystal Palace fan, a lot of players thought: “Good on you, Eric.” No player runs on to the pitch planning to start trouble with supporters, but at every game a percentage of fans turn up intending to dish out verbal abuse or worse.

In my Millwall days in the 1980s, I remember warming up at Upton Park and fans in the Chicken Run terrace were calling out my name for ages until I finally looked round - and 30 of them chorused “w***er”. Apparently they used to do it to someone every week, like it was their hobby. Grown men.

During a game at The Den, David Byrne, our winger, told a Millwall fan who was running along the terrace and giving him stick to “f*** off”. The fan took out a knife and said he was going to “do him” after the match. David went as white as a ghost.

Footballers don't worry about security arrangements at stadiums, but deep down they know that if a fan really wants to invade the pitch and get at them, he will. It is a shame that Aston Villa were not able to catch the supporter who threw a coin at Harry Redknapp last month and hit an assistant referee. A heavy punishment for that might have made the Burnley supporter think twice.

Drogba is not a popular player. He's done and said some daft things, but he wasn't trying to wind up the Burnley fans - he scored and in the adrenalin rush that followed he probably didn't realise where he was celebrating. He's got a big ego, so he's not the kind of character to laugh off having something chucked at him, spoiling his moment of glory. He reacted because he felt insulted.

Drogba must be held accountable, but he's not the main villain here. Stop fans abusing players and you stop the problem of players being pushed past breaking point.

Old foes Germany and England are in friendly mode - Feature

Berlin - Neither Germany nor England will be at full strength when they meet on Wednesday in a match both coaches will use to test some new players. However a meeting between the two old foes is never one to dismiss even though the friendly nature of the international will be more pronounced than previous meetings.

"Everyone has told me that it is not a friendly game against Germany, but I think this will be a friendly game," England manager Fabio Capello said. "We will do some experiments and after this game I will know better some different players."Germany coach Joachim Loew has some experimentation of his own planned, with new caps likely for some or all of the three players called up for the first time.

England will be without Liverpool's Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard in midfield, who has a rib injury, as well as the Manchester United pair Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand. Captain John Terry, who was a doubt, is now expected to play, but Chelsea teammates Ashley and Joe Cole are missing with hamstring injuries, while Manchester United defender Wes Brown and Wigan striker Emile Heskey are among others absent.

There was no place in Capello's squad for former captain David Beckham, who is one cap away from equalling Bobby Moore's tally of 108 caps, and striker Michael Owen has again been overlooked. The injuries prompted Capello to call up Fulham's Jimmy Bullard and Scott Parker of West Ham United on Monday. Germany meanwhile are without captain Michael Ballack and defender Philipp Lahm, whose recoveries from injuries have come too late for Wednesday's match at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.

Loew also left out Werder Bremen midfielder Torsten Frings, and there were some surprises when the names of Hoffenheim pair Marvin Compper and Tobias Weis along with Wolfsburg's Marcel Schaefer appeared on the roster. "England are the team of the moment. They have made an incredibly strong impression. They are compact, get forward quickly and are technically very good."Loew is using the occasion to lay down the law at a team meeting on how he expects his players to behave from now on. It follows a turbulent time for the coach in which he has had to meet Ballack and Frings over critical media interviews, and deal with the walk-out of striker Kevin Kuranyi. The Schalke forward will not be returning as long as Loew is in charge, the coach confirmed Monday.

There will be "no new rules" but some guidelines set down on what Loew expects from his players from now on. "I will say that we are gladly prepared to talk about possible problems internally but not via the media," he said. The midfielder has been ruled out for seven to 10 days and so should be available to feature in Liverpool’s next game - the meeting with Fulham at Anfield the following weekend.

“A scan this morning has confirmed a tear in the adductor magnus muscle in his right leg, and he is expected to be out between seven to 10 days.”

Bent concedes Wayne Rooney is an automatic choice for one of the forward roles, although the Manchester United star has been ruled out of Wednesday's friendly international with Germany in Berlin through injury.

In the approximate 3.9 seconds it takes to say this car’s name, you can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph. As you’d correctly suspect, the Merchedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series is more than just a dark-hued SL65. It’s lighter, mostly rebodied (mostly in carbon fiber), now a fixed-roof car, and seriously more powerful. Whereas the “normal” car has 604 horsepower, the Black Series menaces with 661. Torque is still a healthy 738 lb-ft, but the transmission has been revised with an electronically limited top speed of 199 mph -- or so they claim. Now, where did we leave that quarter million bucks?

No.7 - Chevrolet Volt

The new face of green, at least for Chevy, is set to roll by the end of 2010. You’ve heard about the 2011 Chevrolet Volt and the ambitious ramp-up; but thanks to some leaked photos from GM, we have a better idea of what’s to come. Admittedly, it does look far more sober than the cool concept, but it’s easily as appealing as a Prius. The Volt stands apart as a plug-in electric car, with a battery-only range of 40 miles. Beyond that, a compact gas engine will kick in to recharge and extend the operating range tenfold.

No.6 - Audi R8 TDI Le Mans

On sale: TBD

For all those who scoffed at Audi for putting a diesel race car on the track, there’s going to be an oil-burning version of the R8 to humble traffic in public too. We must confess, the 6.0-liter, V12-endowed R8 TDI LeMans is still officially a concept as of this writing. However, the good news is that Audi is carefully allowing the press to sample a pre-production example with 500 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. Just the idea of a diesel supercar qualifies this Audi as a future car we can’t wait for.

No.5 - Lotus Evora

On sale: Late 2009

If you love everything about the Lotus Elise and Exige, minus the minor details of near-impossible ingress and egress, the upcoming Evora (nee Eagle) is set to thrill those above five-feet tall -- at least in front. Yes, the roomier Lotus is indeed a two-plus-two car, yet remains mid-engined like its baby brothers. Power is expected to be in the 300-horsepower range and courtesy of a 3.5-liter Toyota V6. Where the Ferrari Mondial struck out in looks and functionality years earlier, the Lotus Evora looks to be a winner.

No.4 - Porsche Panamera

On sale: 2009

Porsche used to build two-door sports cars -- period. That ended with a thud when the Cayenne landed, and now another example is coming soon in the four-door Panamera. Spy photos haven’t exactly been thrilling, but we’re going to reserve judgment until we see and drive it firsthand. First, we suspect the car to be a stronger seller overseas than in the U.S., which will likely have an impact on final style tweaks. Second, the engine lineup hasn’t been officially decided. Regardless, as a Porsche, one can reasonably expect the Panamera to be a strong performer.

No.3 - Ferrari California

On sale: 2008 (Europe), 2009 (North America)

In a recent feature devoted to the new Ferrari California, we shamelessly gushed over Maranello’s newest and made it fairly clear why it’s a car we can’t wait for. And why not? This is Ferrari’s first front-engine V8 two-plus-two convertible, with performance to put it very much in line with its stable-mates. Zero to 60 mph is expected to be attainable in under four seconds, with a top speed approaching 200 mph. Besides, it’s exceptionally cool to remark that Michael Schumacher had a hand in your car’s development.

Let’s thank Chevy for making threesomes possible. Just as the Dodge Challenger is already running and the 2010 Ford Mustang launches in early 2009, the Camaro returns with a vengeance. Plus, sources suggest the Camaro could offer a trio of engine choices; including the obligatory 400-horsepower V8, a 300-horsepower V6 and even a 260-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder. The last time Alfisti were granted a new model in the States was at least a generation ago. Proving the wait was well worth it, the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is a stunner. Of course, being Italian, the 8C Competizione does share one thing with the aforementioned: an engine (in this case, a 4.7-liter V8) whose sound will resonate with you long after the drive.

Drogba admits violent conduct charge

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba admitted on Monday a Football Association (FA) charge of violent conduct after throwing a coin back into the crowd at Stamford Bridge during last Wednesday's League Cup defeat against Burnley.

An FA statement said a regulatory commission would hear Drogba's case on Tuesday based on video evidence and written submissions.

The incident, the subject of a police investigation, happened after the Ivory Coast striker had scored the opening goal in the fourth round tie. He also appeared to make an obscene gesture at the away fans.

Drogba, who was shown a yellow card for his actions, said after the match: "There is something I want to make clear. I tried to celebrate the goal and I received some things at me.

"The big mistake I did was to throw it back so if someone was hurt, I just want to apologise for it.

"This is not something I should show in a football match and I want to apologise. It was an incident in the heat of the moment and I regret it. It was just a mistake and nothing more."

Premier League leaders Chelsea issued a statement here Monday which said: "Didier Drogba has responded to the FA's charge of violent conduct and will not contest it."

The goal against Burnley was Drogba's first of a season where a knee injury has restricted him to just five league appearances.

Burnley, who play in English football's second-tier Championship, went on to equalise 20 minutes from time and then pulled off a shock win, 5-4 on penalties after extra-time.

Arsene Wenger's side lost at home to Aston Villa on Saturday but Terry insists they remain a title threat along with Liverpool and Manchester United.

Luiz Felipe Scolari's side host Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Sunday week and go to the Emirates Stadium in May, and Terry says Chelsea will have to win both games to stay ahead of the Gunners.

"I still consider Arsenal a contender, you should never write off the big sides," said Terry. "They have the players to do it and they will put a run together.

"We still have to play them at home and away and anything can happen. We have to make sure we pick up the six points against them in those two games.

"It is really close at the top at moment. Liverpool are playing well. I watched them before we played West Brom and Manchester United had a good result against Stoke.

"The main thing for us is to keep winning and try and frustrate the teams below us. We have experienced that in chasing Manchester United the last couple of years. It does get to you.

"They had the advantage of a better goal difference on us before but we have it now. If we can keep scoring and not conceding it's like another three points."

Rejuvenated striker Nicolas Anelka scored twice against Albion to take his tally for the season to 13, but defender Jose Bosingwa began the rout with a stunning long-range effort.

The right-back, who joined the club in a £16.2million move from Porto in the summer, has been hailed as a top addition to the squad by Terry.

"He is one of the best signings of the year," he added. "He gives us a lot going forward and can defend.

"He has a great left and right foot and he shows that in training. He scores goals and is so quick people find it hard to get by him."

Meanwhile, shock England new boy, Chelsea's on-loan defender Michael Mancienne, says Terry's rise from Chelsea youngster to England captain has provided him with massive inspiration.

Both players came through the youth ranks at the club and both had to go out on loan to gain first-team experience - Mancienne at QPR and now Wolves while Terry went to Nottingham Forest.

But Mancienne, 20, earned a call-up to the England squad two years quicker than Terry and his chances of playing against Germany may increase further if the England captain pulls out with a foot injury.

"I have played with John Terry before in training at Chelsea and our games compliment each other because I'm a different kind of defender," said Mancienne.

"I model myself more on Ricardo Carvalho and Rio Ferdinand because of the way I play. My tackles are all about timing and I like to get my foot on the ball.

"The game has just come naturally to me, I used to play in midfield so when I went to the back I had a lot of confidence.

"John is captain of the full national side and is someone I look up to. He plays a big part in my belief that I can make it in the game because he made the breakthrough.

"He started out at Chelsea having to compete with Frank Leboeuf and Marcel Desailly who had won the World Cup with France and look where he is now."

A few weeks ago Mancienne admitted that he may have to leave Chelsea for the good of his career, but his England recognition has provided him with fresh optimism that he can make an impact under Scolari.

He added: "I was on the bench for Chelsea a few times, but I haven't played a first-team game for them yet. Long term I would like to go back there, because I have been with the club since I was eight.

"But I am at Wolves until the end of December and I don't know if the loan deal will be extended.

"I would like to think that one day I can play regular Premier League football, but being at Wolves is a great stepping stone.

"The move to Wolves, the fact they like to play good football and are top of the Championship, has definitely helped me get selected for England."

Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has been forced to pull out of the squad to face Germany with a rib problem.

Barcelona-based Sport claims that the capital side have begun preliminary negotiations with Chelsea about the signing of Drogba this winter.

Real Madrid sporting director Predrag Mijatovic is a huge fan of the Ivorian hitman and is aware of his effectivness in front of goal, an aspect that Real Madrid has been lacking ever since the injury to Ruud van Nistelrooy, which will keep him out for around nine months.

Los Blancos came very close to capturing Drogba this summer, but Ramon Calderón had his focus on Cristiano Ronaldo and neglected Schuster's repeated cries for a striker. By the time the Ronaldo saga had ended, Drogba decided to stay put at Stamford Brdige for another year.

The reports suggest that Chelsea will ask a fee in the region of $25 million for its striker, a sum that Calderon will not have too much trouble dishing out, especially after selling Robinho for double that price to Manchester City in late August.

Nicolas Anelka continued his free-scoring form as Chelsea regained leadership of the English Premier League with a 3-0 rout of bottom club West Bromwich Albion in Saturday's late kickoff.

Anelka has prospered since Luiz Felipe Scolari took charge at Chelsea.

Chelsea head Liverpool on goal difference with both teams on 32 points after 13 matches.

Champions Manchester United are eight points adrift, with a game in hand, in third place.

Full-back Jose Boswinga opened the scoring for Chelsea on 34 minutes at The Hawthorns with Anelka all but wrapping up the three points with a double strike just before halftime.

It was the French international's seventh goal in his last three Premier League games and continued his

improved Chelsea form since the arrival of manager Luiz Felipe Scolari at the start of the season.

West Bromwich manager Tony Mowbray had predicted a tough test and his worst fears were confirmed as a comprehensive defeat leaves them propping up the standings on 11 points.

After a quiet start, Chelsea found their rhythm and Frank Lampard tested Scott Carson with a powerful drive.

A superb strike from Boswinga gave the Blues the lead after 34 minutes.

There appeared to be little danger but Boswinga suddenly unleashed a powerful left-footed drive from 25 meters out which Carson could not prevent from finding the back of the net.

After 38 minutes Anelka doubled Chelsea's lead as the excellent Florent Malouda headed the ball into his path and he ran on to dink the ball past Carson.

In first half injury-time Anelka struck again from a narrow angle with Salomon Kalou giving the assist this time.

Anelka, who had kept Didier Drogba on the bench, had chances to complete a hat-trick after the break.

The first came as he unselfishly chose to set up Deco rather than shoot from 12 meters out and later Abdoulaye Meite threw himself in front of his goalbound shot.

Malouda should have capped a fine individual performance with Chelsea's fourrth but shot across the face of goal with only Carson to beat.

Scolari was pleased to see his team back to their best after a penalty shootout defeat to Burnley in the League Cup in midweek and was particularly pleased by Anelka's contribution.

"When you receive the ball one or two times, 10 times, and you don't score, some players in the team lose confidence in him," Scolari told the Associated Press.

"But when he receives the ball one or two times and scores, players try to give more chances to Anelka for him to score more."

Shocking The Drog Behavior !

The oddest aspect of the Didier Drogba coin toss was that he was allowed to carry on by the referee after aiming an abusive gesture at the Burnley fans, exchanging a few choice swear words and then forcibly returning a coin that a Burnley fan may or may not have 'dropped' on the pitch. The precedents are pretty clear on the matter.

The other incidents that I can recall that are similar are when Jamie Carragher under-armed a water bottle back into the crowd in 2002 (some people seem to recall that he threw a coin, but I remember it as a plastic bottle) and Gary Neville attempting to wind up buoyant Everton fans, in April 2005, by crashing a dead ball into the advertising hoardings - but inevitably missing and striking a spectator. Both received straight reds.

When El Hadji Diuof spat at Celtic fans at Celtic Park in March 2003 he was responding to being patted on the head following a slip; the referee was obviously unsighted otherwise another straight red would have been issued.

When Eric Cantona went somewhat further at Selhurst Park he had already been sent off - and was subsequently banned for six months.

That Drogba was booked can only suggest that the referee didn't see the whole incident and the FA will now inevitably respond with a minimum charge of bringing the game into disrepute. Add to this a possible court case - especially as there is a massive potential for ricochets in a situation where a rich man like Drogba is caught bang to rights. I would be surprised if fewer than 50 Burnley fans were 'hurt' by the coin!

Didier Dogba was clearly wound up by the loss of an automatic first team slot - Nic Anelka seems to be Scolari's first choice - and responded to that as well as some probably quite heated baiting. But there are no excuses, the apology was a good first step and may reduce the inevitable ban to just three games. Drogba has recently stated his intention to see out the remaining years of his contract - but if a bid comes in in January he may not now get the chance. Chelsea's finances are under a little pressure and if Scolari wants a little elbow room in the transfer market, Drogba could well be the catalyst.

Lower league Burnley traveled to west London this evening looking to cause an upset in an old fashioned English cup tie. The league cup threw up some interesting results last night, and the 6,000 fans making the trip down from Lancashire would have been hoping for another this evening.

Chelsea are the only member of the top four that do not treat the tournament as an opportunity to test out either their youth players or their younger squad players, and the Blues had two time Champions League winner Deco; three Brazilian internationals: Alex, Belletti, and Mineiro; and two Ivorians, Kalou and Drogba, all making the starting eleven.

FIRST HALF

It took both teams a long time to settle into the fixture, and neither goalkeeper had a save to make for the opening stages of the game.

The most considerable piece of action arrived in the 20th minute when Salomon Kalou was clean through on goal but Burnley's Jensen was there to deflect the ball clear. Drogba then pounced on the rebound but Jensen stayed strong to ensure Chelsea's scoreline remained at zero.

The Blues got off the mark seven minutes later, though, when Didier Drogba, who has an arduous task knocking Nicolas Anelka off pole position considering the Frenchman's form, burst into the penalty box and slotted a right foot shot over the line and into the net.

Frank Lampard, who came on in place of Belletti, was largely responsible for Chelsea's improved passing play.

Burnley did not roll over after the Blues' opener, but lacked creation and vision in the final third despite playing with an increased pace and urgency.

SECOND HALF

Burnley's reaction after the break was in a similar vein to their play in the first half. They were lively and eager for the ball, but Chelsea dominated possession.

The visiting Clarets desperately tried to level the scoreline but the home side were, in typical Chelsea fashion, solid in defense.

Burnley's efforts were finally rewarded in the 70th minute, though, as Christopher Eagles, formerly of Manchester United, sent a low drive toward Cudicini, who couldn't claim the ball cleanly and spilled the shot.

Akinbiyi, with a true goal-poaching instinct, pounced on the rebound and made no mistake in thrashing the ball into the net.

The Blues could have won the game moments before the whistle for the full 90 when Di Santo was teed up an opportune strike but sent his shot wide of the marker.

EXTRA TIME

Franco di Santo injured his hamstring during extra time and because Luiz Felipe Scolari had used all three substitutes the Blues were forced to play the rest of the fixture with ten men.

Lampard had the ball in the net within four minutes of the restart, but he was flagged for offside and any celebrations in the crowd were premature.

Both sides have chances to score, with Lampard firing a shot high and wide after being set up by Malouda, and Elliot for Burnley had a volley saved by Cudicini.

In the second half of extra time it appeared as though both sides were content to play for penalties as Chelsea kept the ball around the midfield areas, and the initial energy that Burnley showed in normal time had taken an understandable back seat.

Relentless drama ensued in the closing stages of added time. Chelsea may have rued their spurned efforts as Wayne Bridge sent in a well-weighted cross only for Alex to miss the target from inside the six yard box.

Then, a minute later, Clarets captain Caldwell was sent for an early bath for a second bookable offense. Due to the earlier limping off of di Santo for Chelsea, the game finished ten against ten.

The Drog Returns

Didier Drogba is set to start for the first time in six weeks with the Chelsea manager, Luiz Felipe Scolari, ringing the changes for the visit of Burnley in the Carling Cup tonight. Drogba has not started a game since picking up a knee injury against CFR Cluj in the Champions League on 1 October and has been forced to watch Nicolas Anelka seize his chance to become the club's main goalscorer.

Anelka has scored 11 goals so far this season but may be rested or moved out to the flanks to accommodate Drogba against Burnley. "Hopefully Didier faces quite a fight to get back into the side because that's what being at a big club is all about," said Chelsea's assistant coach Ray Wilkins yesterday. "Didier trained very well yesterday and today so he's back in the squad. That's very pleasant from our situation.

"We do have Nicolas in fantastic form, so with Didier breathing down his neck to have a game it is lovely. I am sure there is a very healthy rivalry between the two guys as to who will score the most goals and I do think they can play together. At the moment Felipe is managing to get the best out of Nic. The player has worked extremely hard to get himself in this situation so we must give him a lot of respect for what he's done.

"I think Nic has had a few arms round the shoulder from Felipe, a few chats and he's been told just exactly what's required of him. There are a lot of players you have to treat differently. It is a skill of the manager to select the right people and to get the right response from them. Nic has different attributes to Didier. His pace can take him beyond defenders in a flash. If you were to blend the two of them together you would have the best striker in world football.

"We've done exceptionally well over the last couple of years in the Carling Cup," Wilkins added, "and the boys have been to Felipe and expressed the fact they don't want to be left out and want to play in every game. That is an extremely positive attitude to take and I am delighted because it shows there is this winning mentality in the club."

Chelsea will still be without England midfielder Joe Cole and the game will come too early for Michael Ballack. "We are going to have to wait and see on Joe," Wilkins added. "He has got a couple of little niggles that he has been carrying for a couple of weeks. Michael Ballack has joined the group and is doing very well. He is back in the fold but the weekend is more likely for him."

Wilkins said Chelsea would not be treating their Championship opponents lightly as they attempted to reach the quarter-finals. "We have prepared for Burnley as we would for a Premier League side," he said. "It is important for us. We must pay them the utmost respect and impose our Premier League status on them when they come and play. It will be up to us to make sure they do most of the defending."

The Burnley manager, Owen Coyle, is aiming to dump Chelsea out of the competition then after the game ask Scolari the secrets of his success. For Coyle crossing swords with the World Cup winner is another notable step in the former Bolton striker's managerial education. Coyle and his players won the respect of the Arsenal manager, Arsène Wenger, after the Gunners edged a hard-fought FA Cup encounter at Turf Moor last season. Coyle said: "I felt privileged when Arsène Wenger was here and to stand in the opposite dugout to a World Cup winner will be another privilege. Hopefully I can learn and I will certainly be looking to pick his brains after the game when we sit down for a chat.

"For my own personal development it's tremendous and obviously I am looking to continue that, so I'll cream what I can off him to try to make me and this football club better."

Coyle has won many admirers since taking over at Burnley 12 months ago and his commitment to attractive, passing football has made the dour, sterile style under predecessor Steve Cotterill a distant memory.

Players such as Robbie Blake, Martin Paterson and Chris Eagles have given the Clarets a significant attacking threat, and Coyle admits his players can only benefit from the experience of playing Chelsea.

He said: "They're so fluent and they've got pace and strength – everything you'd ask of an individual, and as a team, they have it. But as a player I wanted to play against the very best players and go to the best arenas and stadiums, and Wednesday provides that. There is a big financial outlay from our fans, so it's important that we, as a group, show our appreciation to those coming down to London. We can do that by performing to our maximum and hopefully giving them something to shout about."

Dead People And Credit Card

Be sure and cancel your credit cards before you die. This is so priceless, and so easy to see happening, customer service being what it is today.
A lady died this past January, and The Bank billed her for February March for their annual service charges on her credit card, added late fees and interest on the monthly charge. The balance of $0, is now somewhere around $60. A Family Member placed a call to The Bank.

Here is the exchange:

Family Member : “I am calling to tell you she died in January.”
The Bank : “The account was never closed, and the late fees charges still apply.”
Family Member : “Maybe you should turn it over to collections.”
The Bank : “Since it is 2 months past due, it already has been.”
Family Member : “So, what will they do when they find out she is dead?”
The Bank : “Either report her account to frauds division or report her to the credit bureau. Maybe both !”
Family Member : “Do you think God will be mad at her?” (I really liked this part !!!!)
The Bank : “Excuse me?”
Family Member : “Did you just get what I was telling you? The part about her being dead?”
The Bank : “Sir, you’ll have to speak to my supervisor.” !

Lampard fires warning to United

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard says Manchester United cannot afford any more slip-ups if they are to successfully defend the title.

Lampard has helped Luiz Felipe Scolari's side set the early pace this term, opening up an eight-point gap on the Red Devils along the way though United to have a game in hand on the Blues.

That advantage was helped by United's 2-1 defeat at Arsenal Saturday, while Chelsea made light work of Blackburn at Ewood Park 24 hours later.

The Emirates setback was United's second loss of the season, while Chelsea have lost just once in the Premier League.

And with that in mind, Lampard believes the Blues' fellow contenders for the crown can't afford anymore slip-ups.

"It's a nice gap for us," the England international told the Evening Standard.

"It is far from over, but in the last two years it's been the other way around. We've been five points behind and it is not easy. When you are chasing, you really can't afford to lose games.

"You have to remember Liverpool are neck and neck with us. But Man United and Arsenal, who are always big contenders, are those few points behind."

Chelsea came desperately close to taking the title last season, eventually ending the campaign just two points adrift.

Their failure to keep pace with United at the top ultimately proved costly and Lampard is determined to avoid a similar occurrence this time around.

"It is not easy to chase, the pressure builds up and if you drop points you fall further behind," he added.

"It's difficult either way, because the big four don't lose too many games or drop too many points.

"You certainly don't want to be too far behind at this point.

"We did it last year and we made a lot of ground up. However, in the end we lost the title by two points, so it feels nice to be in the lead at the moment."

Ince relishes physical challenge from Chelsea

BLACKBURN, England- Paul Ince, the Blackburn Rovers manager, faces Chelsea on Sunday expecting the Premiership title hopefuls to provide his team with a strong, physical challenge.

In a week in which Arsene Wenger publically criticised Stoke City for their physical approach in the recent victory over Arsenal, the issue of underdog teams trying to out-muscle the Premiership elite has been to the fore.

But Ince, a former midfielder well known for relishing the physical side of the game in his own playing days, believes that Chelsea are now capable of mixing both styles of football.

"Chelsea can do both sides of the game now. They can play and they can also handle the physical side of the game," said the former England international.

"You look at the likes of John Terry, Carvalho, John Obi-Mikel and you can see that they are a big side.

"Last season, they had a lot of 1-0 wins, so that shows they are a team well capable of defending a lead. They defend, they can tackle and they are strong players.

"But since Luiz Scolari came in, he has taken them to another level and they are now playing Manchester United-style football. So that makes them twice as hard to beat because they are top notch at both aspects.

"They have world-class players, so when you come up against them, you have to rely on your work ethic and getting in people's faces to get results against the big boys.

"But when the big boys are capable of exactly the same thing, but with world-class players, they are going to out-play you and you can't do anything about it. That's a fact."

Ince, a former favourite with Manchester United and Liverpool, believes those two clubs are genuine title contenders, along with the team he faces at Ewood Park on Sunday.

And the Blackburn manager finds it difficult to separate the three early-season pace setters. "Are Chelsea better than United? I don't think so, and you shouldn't forget Liverpool in there either," he said.

"They've changed as a team and the players seem to be enjoying what they are doing. With the likes of Deco in there, Chelsea are now playing football the way it should be played. We just need to hope they have an off day if we are to get the win.

"But if Hull and Stoke can beat Arsenal, then there is no reason why we can't beat Chelsea."

Scolari, however, has been shocked at the physical style of Premiership football despite making an instant, and impressive, impact on English football.

"Yes, I have been surprised at how physical it is," he said. "You never look at a club in English football and think their players are small. They all have big bodies.

"Sometimes, there is more physical contact in games but, hopefully, we're not bad at that.

"All the teams have a minimum ten players who are about 1m 90cm (6'3") so sometimes you need to do something different in training because you are playing against a team that has six or seven players inside your area and that makes a big problem for us because we're not that big.

"We need some strategic movements to control the game and control throw-ins and corner kicks."

Scolari is expected to hand veteran Brazilian midfielder Mineiro his debut on Sunday with Nigeria midfielder John Mikel Obi making way as a result of the mistakes which contributed to two of Roma goals in their 3-1 midweek win over Chelsea in Rome.

England defender Ashley Cole misses the trip with a calf problem while Michael Essien, who had knee surgery earlier in the season, and Michael Ballack (foot) are long-term absentees.

Ducky succeeds Danka Kordak of Slovakia, a Chihuahua who measured 5.4 inches tall. The smallest dog ever, according to Guinness, was a dwarf Yorkshire terrier who stood 2.8 inches tall.

World's Smallest Snake: 10.1 cm (4-inch) long

Leptotyphlops carlae is the world's smallest species of snake, with adults averaging just under four inches in length. Found on the Caribbean island of Barbados, the species --which is as thin as a spaghetti noodle and small enough to rest comfortably on a U.S. quarter-- was discovered by Blair Hedges.

World's Smallest Fish: 7.9 mm (0.3-inch) long

On January 2006, the world's smallest fish was discovered on the Indonesian island of Sumatra: a member of the carp family of fish, the Paedocypris progenetica. It is the world's smallest vertebrate or backboned animal; only 7.9 mm (0.3 inches) long.

The title, however, is contested by 6.2 mm (0.2 in) long male anglerfish Photocorynus spiniceps (not technically a fish but a sexual parasite) and the 7 mm (0.27 in) long male stout infantfish Schindleria brevipinguis.

World's Smallest Horse: 43.18 cm (17-inch) tall

The little horse was born to Paul and Kay Goessling, who specialize in breeding miniature horses, but even for the breed Thumbelina is particularly small: she is thought to be a dwarf-version of the breed. At just 60 lb and 17-inch tall, the five-year-old Thumbelina is the world's smallest horse.

World's Smallest Cat: 15.5 cm (6.1-inch) high and 49 cm (19.2-inch) long

Meet Mr. Peebles. He lives in central Illinois, is two years old, weighs about three pounds and is the world's smallest cat! The cat's small stature was verified by the Guinness Book of World Records on 2004.

World's Smallest Hamster: 2.5 cm (0.9-inch) tall

Only slightly bigger than a 50p piece, PeeWee is the smallest hamster in the world. Weighing less than an ounce, the golden hamster stopped growing when he was three weeks old - his five brothers and sisters went on to measure between 4in and 5in.

World's Smallest Chameleon: 1.2 cm (0.5-inch) long

The Brookesia Minima is the world's smallest species of chameleon. This one is just half an inch. Found on the rainforest floor of Nosy Be Island off the north-west coast of Madagascar, females tend to be larger than males.

World's Smallest Lizard: 16 mm (0.6-inch) long

So small it can curl up on a dime or stretch out on a quarter, a typical adult of the species, whose scientific name is Sphaerodactylus ariasae is only about 16 millimeters long, or about three quarters of an inch, from the tip of the snout to the base of the tail. It shares the title of "smallest" with another lizard species named Sphaerodactylus parthenopion, discovered in 1965 in the British Virgin Islands.

World's Smallest Cattle: 81 cm (31-inch) height

The world's smallest cattle is a rare breed of an Indian zebu called the Vechur cow. The average height of this breed of cattle is 31 to 35 inches (81 to 91 cm). The photo above shows a 16 year old Vechur cattle as compared to a 6 year old HF cross-breed cow.

World's Smallest Seahorse: 16 mm (0.6-inch) long

The creature, known as Hippocampus denise, is typically just 16 millimetres long - smaller than most fingernails. Some were found to be just 13 mm long. H. denise lives in the tropical waters of the western Pacific Ocean, between 13 and 90 metres beneath the surface.
